Our Carbon Footprint

Our Carbon Footprint

Did you know cigarette butts can take 18 months to ten years to break down! In this blog, we are going to cover how Mist NZ plays its part in reducing our carbon footprint and what you can do to play your part too.

We take looking after the environment seriously, those have always been our views from day dot of Mist NZ

Our Part

Almost all of the products we use in manufacturing are recycled as they are made up of PET(Polyethylene terephthalate) plastic. PET is one of the most recycling plastics in the world, you can tell if a product is PET as it will have a 1 inside of a triangle. Recycled PET can be commonly recycling into carpets or clothing amongst a lot of other things.

Our Vegetable Glycerine is derived from Rapeseed and is (Palm Free). These are supplied to us in 20ltr PET Containers, Once empty we either recycle them or send them to a local flooring company who fills them up with water and uses them for weights.

As you all know when it comes to shipping, We use Recyclable compostable paper courier bags, which are made from recycled and FSC certified paper.

Invoices & New Letters
Each order we send out normally has an invoice and a newsletter. These newsletter and invoices are printed on 100% Recycled Paper, which they can also be recycled by the consumer after use.

Playing Your Part, And How You Can Help

Recycle your vape juice bottles
All our e-liquid bottles are made from PET, once you have finished your e-liquid you should take the label off and recycle it.

Recycle your paper products
You can also recycle the packaging that your order came in along with the invoice and newsletter, as they are all FCS paper products.
